Sacred Love Hemp Porridge

There's nothing quite like a warm and comforting bowl of porridge to keep you toasty and satiated on a cold winter's day. Our version is made from hemp instead of oats, making it keto friendly, low-carb, gluten free and packed with protein and healthy fats too. Our Sacred Love organic drinking cacao gives it a beautiful Turkish Delight twist. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

Hemp Porridge:
50 g hemp seeds
20 g almond flour
40 g sacred love drinking cacao
60 g natvia
10 g golden flax meal
10 g chia seeds
Dash of salt
1 tbsp rose water
1/2 tsp cardamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
250 ml plant-based mylk

Ganache:
55 g melted coconut oil
10 g melted cacao butter
40 g sacred love drinking cacao
80 g natvia
25 ml warm plant-based mylk

Method:

  1. Place all ingredients for the porridge in a saucepan and bring to the boil. 
  2. Reduce to a simmer, stirring occasionally until the mixture thickens and becomes creamy. remove from heat and divide into two bowls.
  3. Whisk all ganache ingredients until smooth and velvety. If the ganache starts to thicken you can simply whisk it with a tiny amount of warm mylk until you get the texture you desire.
  4. To serve, top porridge with sliced strawberries, pistachios and ganache. Pair with a warm cup of Sacred Love organic drinking cacao. Set your intentions. Eat mindfully. Enjoy fully. Life is Sacred.
